Job Description

We are hiring a

skilled Commis Chef / DCDP

with proven expertise in

Indo-Chinese cuisine

. If you are passionate about creating delicious and consistent dishes like

honey chilli cauliflower, crispy corn, spring rolls, Manchurian, momos, noodles, and Chinese-style mains

, we'd love to have you on our team

Key Responsibilities:



Prepare and execute

Indo-Chinese dishes

with consistency and high standards. Set up the kitchen for

daily service and prep

, including delegating tasks to junior chefs and stewards. Handle

daily food production

according to the standards and quality set by the restaurant. Create and manage prep for items like

noodles, momos, Chinese starters, and sauces

. Maintain

high attention to detail

in plating and final presentation of dishes. Estimate daily prep requirements and ensure

optimal stock and freshness

. Oversee and maintain

hygiene, safety, and cleanliness

standards in the kitchen. Inspect quality of all ingredients, utensils, and equipment used for cooking. Ensure

proper labeling, storage, and stock rotation

for all food items. Maintain

kitchen records

for inventory, prep, and production schedules. Mentor and train junior kitchen staff in food prep, hygiene, and service protocols. Support daily compliance with

food safety regulations and best practices

. Monitor and uphold

personal grooming and hygiene standards

of all staff. Ensure

all kitchen equipment

is well-maintained and functioning properly. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:



Hands-on experience with

Indo-Chinese cooking techniques and ingredients

Strong knowledge of

kitchen hygiene and food safety protocols

Leadership abilities with experience in

training junior staff

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced kitchen Certification in food handling or culinary education is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?22,000.00 per month
