Job Description

As a

Commis Chef (I, II, III)

in the Bakery & Pastry Department, you will be responsible for supporting the preparation and production of a variety of bakery and dessert items. These roles are divided based on skill level and experience, with increasing responsibility from Commis III to Commis I. You may specialize in one or more of the following sections:

Sponge Maker

Dry Cake Maker

Arabic Sweet Maker

Artisan Pastry Maker

Puff Maker


General Responsibilities (All Levels):



Assist in the preparation and production of high-quality bakery and pastry items. Follow recipes and portion standards accurately. Ensure workstation cleanliness and maintain hygiene standards at all times. Assist in ingredient preparation, mixing, baking, and decorating as per assigned section. Properly store and label ingredients and finished products. Work closely with senior chefs to ensure smooth operations in the section. Comply with all food safety and HACCP guidelines.

Pay: ?13,500.00 - ?23,000.00 per month
