Job Summary The Commi 2 Chef is responsible for assisting in the preparation of dishes in the kitchen under the supervision of senior chefs. They will perform various tasks to support the culinary team and ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen. Key Responsibilities Assist senior chefs in preparing ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping. Follow recipes and instructions from senior chefs to prepare and cook dishes. Monitor food quality and ensure that all dishes meet the established standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and cleaning of workstations. Assist in inventory management by keeping track of stock levels and notifying the senior chefs when supplies need to be replenished. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards to ensure compliance with regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service. Perform any other duties as assigned by the senior chefs or kitchen management. Qualifications Previous experience working in a professional kitchen preferred. Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
