Job Title: Commis 1 - Indian Cuisine

Location: DLF Phase-3
Department: Kitchen
Reports to: Head Chef / Sous Chef

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Commis 1 to join our dynamic cloud kitchen team specializing in Indian cuisine. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, ensure kitchen cleanliness, and maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in preparing ingredients and dishes according to the recipes and standards.
• Follow kitchen policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Ensure all food products are stored properly and used efficiently to minimize waste.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation and kitchen environment.
• Assist in inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Participate in daily kitchen briefings and contribute to the continuous improvement of kitchen operations.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Commis 1 or similar role in an Indian kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of Indian cooking techniques, ingredients, and dishes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Culinary school diploma or equivalent certification is a plus.
