Job Description

Job Summary:

As an Insurance Underwriter at Investacc Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd., your role is to

assess and analyze insurance risks focused on General Insurance Products like

Property, Fire, Engineering, Marine, Workers Compensation etc. You will work

closely with our clients and insurance carriers to provide tailored insurance solutions

that meet the unique needs and objectives of our clients.

Your responsibilities will include risk evaluation, policy placement, policy servicing,

negotiation, and maintaining client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Risk Assessment: Evaluate insurance applications and associated documents to

assess the risk profile of clients. Analyze factors such as business operations,

financials, claims history, and industry trends to determine the level of risk.

Client Consultation: Collaborate with clients to understand their insurance needs,

goals, and constraints. Provide professional advice on insurance options and coverage

strategies.

Policy Placement: Work with insurance carriers to negotiate and secure insurance

policies that align with clients' requirements. Ensure policies are issued accurately and

in a timely manner.

Premium Negotiation: Negotiate premium rates, terms, and conditions with insurance

carriers to obtain the best possible coverage at competitive prices for clients.

Documentation: Prepare and review insurance documentation, including applications,

policy contracts, and endorsements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with client

needs and regulations.

Client Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships. Provide ongoing

support, including policy renewals, endorsements, and claims assistance.

Claims Assistance: Assist clients in the claims process by liaising with insurance

carriers and claims adjusters to ensure prompt and fair claims settlements.

Compliance: Stay informed about insurance regulations and compliance requirements

to ensure that client insurance programs adhere to legal standards.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records of client interactions,

policies, and other relevant documents.
