Hello Candidates, Greeting from Nexus! We are urgently looking for "Commercial & Procurement Manager " for one of the Pharmaceutical packaging Industry. Location: Ahmedabad Industry Requirement: Manufacturing Education Qualification : Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Experience \xe2\x80\x93 5+ years Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy that optimizes costs, maintains quality standards, and mitigates supply chain risks.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers through market research and qualification processes.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best possible terms for the company, including price, delivery schedule, and quality.
  • Manage supplier relationships, fostering open communication and collaboration to ensure reliable and consistent delivery of goods and services.
  • Oversee contract administration, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions.
  • Monitor and analyse procurement performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and cost savings.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, pricing fluctuations, and industry best practices in procurement and commercial management.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments, such as engineering, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment on procurement needs.
  • Manage and potentially lead a team of procurement professionals.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in procurement and/or commercial management.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing procurement strategies.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a track record of achieving cost savings through supplier contracts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and budgeting.
  • Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) may be beneficial.
