Job Description

A Color Grade Artist is tasked with refining and enhancing the colors, tones, and overall visual aesthetics of images or videos. They operate in post-production, utilizing specialized software and tools to achieve the desired color grading and correction effects. These artists work closely with directors, cinematographers, photographers, and clients to ensure the intended artistic vision and mood are realized through color manipulation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Adjusting color balance, contrast, saturation, and other image attributes to achieve the desired look.
• Using color correction techniques to enhance or alter the colors in images or videos.
• Performing color grading to create specific moods or visual storytelling elements.
• Ensuring color and visual style consistency throughout a project or series.
• Retouching and refining images or footage for a polished and professional result.
• Incorporating feedback from clients or creative teams into the color correction process.
• Staying current with industry trends, software tools, and color grading techniques.
• Collaborating with other post-production professionals, such as editors and visual effects artists, to integrate color correction seamlessly into the project.
• Delivering high-quality, color-corrected files within project deadlines.

SKILLS NEEDED ON THE JOB

• Expertise in color grading software such as DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Final Cut Pro.
• Familiarity with video editing and post-production workflows.
• In-depth knowledge of color theory, correction techniques, and visual aesthetics.
• Sharp attention to detail and a strong sense of color accuracy and consistency.
• Understanding of various color profiles, file formats, and color spaces.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork with creative teams and clients.
• Problem-solving abilities to overcome challenges and achieve the desired color results.
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting visual references and artistic direction.
• Efficient time management to meet project deadlines and juggle multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
