Criteo is looking for a Collections Team Lead, to play a key role in overseeing and guiding a Team of Collection Analysts to achieve their goals in maintaining accounts receivable and reducing outstanding payments.You will ensure adherence to best practices, manage escalations, and foster an environment of efficiency and collaboration. This position requires a proactive leader with excellent communication and organizational skills who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.The candidate will be responsible for making sure the Team is resolving outstanding payment issues and document weekly aging reports in a timely manner, and making sure Collectors adhere to Criteo processes and policiesThe candidate should display a positive and proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and multitask and be a strong communicator, both written and verbally, support the Team and know when to escalate cases with higher levels of management.The candidate must have knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency in MS Office especially Excel. Prior experience with SAP and BRIM is a plus.Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and mentor a team of Collection Analysts, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
  • Organize regular coaching sessions to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Monitor team metrics, ensuring individual and team goals align with company objectives.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and team reviews to assess progress and address challenges.
  • Build strong relationships with key clients and agencies, gaining a deep understanding of their processes to prevent disputes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, AS, agency teams) to ensure strong client relationship and all relevant teams have visibility into account status/issues
  • Help Collection Analysts to manage escalations and act as point of contact for high-level and complex clients, ensuring payment issues and disputes timely resolutions and high standard of customer service.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency across aging reports, dunning emails, and reconciliations performed by the team.
  • Implement and oversee adherence to collection strategies and process adjustments as needed.
  • Monitor and analyze overdue buckets to maintain thresholds defined by management.
  • Track team performance against cash collection targets and service level agreements and take corrective actions and esclation when necessary
  • Compile, analyze, and present detailed collection reports to senior management.
  • Review accounts recommended for Write off or Collection Agency
  • Develop and execute strategies to reduce the average collection period (DSO)
  • Develop and execute strategies to make sure accounts are properly reconcile and donxe2x80x99t hold old unexplained balances.
Metrics:
  • Meet individual cash collection targets as designated by management.
  • Maintain overdue accounts within acceptable thresholds.
  • Address and resolve client requests impacting payments within agreed service levels.
Who You Are:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in business, accounting, or finance is a plus.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in collections or accounts receivable, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in English). You know how to communicate articulately and efficiently with other people within and outside the company. Capable of working with all levels of Management
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel. Experience with SAP / BRIM / Salesforce is a plus.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-focused / customer service mindset
  • Ability to manage escalations effectively with limited help
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment fostering positive working relationships
