The ideal candidate must possess strong critical thinking and communication skills. This role is a key member of the Global Credit and Collections team within Palo Alto Networks. This person will be accountable for cash collections of a subset of the trade receivables portfolio and the relationship management with Palo Alto Networks\' external customers.Your ImpactFull collections responsibility for an assigned portfolio of accountsGlobal coordination of processes with the team in the USEstablish excellent relationships with assigned customer portfolio to ensure future payment complianceSchedule and host conference calls with customers and support primes as neededDrive customer account reviews with managementTake actions to encourage timely paymentsResolution of discrepant invoices, reconciling and matching debits/creditsPartner cross-functionally with Accounts Receivable, Business Units, Sales, Tax and IT departments to resolve collection mattersMonitor accounts to identify past due balancesEnsure compliance with SOX 404 key controlsQualificationsYour ExperienceBachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance or relative area with 5+ years experience or 6+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree (high tech company experience preferred) or equivalent military experience requiredExperience with SAP ERPBusiness acumen that affords you proficiency in business writing and speaking in English - if you know other languages, that would be a plusExcellent communication skills (written and oral)Critical thinker with a risk-based approach mindset and strong problem-solving skillsAbility to build relationships across multiple functions and implement new processesStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and execute with accuracy and efficiencyIntermediate to advanced Excel skills requiredProficiency in Google Suite a plusProficiency in GetPaid a plusAdditional InformationThe TeamOur Credit & Collections team is a global team with personnel in the US and India.
