The Cold Store Supervisor is responsible for managing daily operations within the cold storage facility, ensuring the efficient and safe handling of perishable goods. This role involves supervising staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and optimizing storage space and processes.
• Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring all processes are conducted efficiently and safely.
• Monitor temperature controls to ensure the proper storage conditions are maintained for all perishable goods.
• Coordinate with logistics and transport teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, conducting regular stock checks and audits.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability while minimizing waste due to spoilage.
• Implement and maintain effective inventory management systems to track the movement and storage of goods.
• Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the cold storage facility, ensuring that equipment is in good working condition.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams for the repair and servicing of refrigeration systems and other equipment.
• Manage energy usage within the facility, optimizing operations to reduce costs while maintaining quality standards.
• repare regular reports on inventory levels, staff performance, and facility operations for management review.
• Analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for cost savings.
