Your work will play a critical role in our business offering, your code will deliver value to our customers faster than ever before, and your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be critical in ensuring the success of our products.Using design documentation and functional programming specifications, you will be responsible for implementing identified components. You will ensure that implemented components are appropriately documented, unit-tested, and ready for integration into the final product. You will have the opportunity to architect the solution, test the code, and deploy and build a CI/CD pipeline for it.Primary Responsibilities:

• Analyzes, designs, develops, tests and deploys code on a mainframe platform (z/OS) based upon user specifications.
• Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications and programming solutions.
• Provide technical assistance in solving hardware or software problems.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all development processes, including specifications, design, and user guides.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior developers, sharing knowledge and best practices in mainframe development.
• Ensure proper change management for all requested changes, fixes and enhancements to production applications.

And finally, youxe2x80x99re open and borderless xe2x80x93 naturally inclusive in how you work with others.Required Technical and Professional Experience- 8+ years of programming experience in Healthcare applications.- Proficiency in COBOL programming in an IBM z/OS mainframe environment.- Expertise in Job Control Language (JCL).- Knowledge of mainframe technologies, including CICS, VSAM, and CA-Datacom.- Production Support experience, including batch and online support, break-fix support and permanent fixes in production.- Familiarity using mainframe tools, including TSO, ISPF, SDSF.- Development lifecycle experience, from Developing to System Test to UAT to Production.- Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).Preferred Technical and Professional Experience- Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work/practical experience).
