Job Description
Proficiency in Autodesk Power Mill & Mastercam
Knowledge on 3Axis, 4 ,Axis & 5 Axis machining concepts
Understand the importance of cycle time & Create strategies for balance between tool life and dimensional accuracies & Surface finish.
Good Knowledge on different fixtures and understanding of clamping of the part during the machining process to maximize cutting efficiency with minimum setup changes.
Ability to create and stimulate the complex machining setup in the software.
Create Setup sheets, and detailed description of tools and fixtures used in the part program and the procedure, in order to assist the operator in doing setups.
Ability to understand the different control systems on Machines and their axis movement limitations & select the machines accordingly.
Good Knowledge on cutting tool material, their coating, and their speeds and feeds and use suitable tool for the programming.
Knowledge on engineering materials like aluminum, stainless steel, Inconel etc. and their behavior during the machining process so as to select proper cutting speeds feeds and tool.
