Minimum 5 years of experience in System Administration
Good troubleshooting and Problem-solving skills.
Proven Knowledge of Microsoft SCCM including deployment, expansion, installation, management, monitoring, and administration
Good hands-on experience on Windows Platform with 2003/2008/2012/2016 operating systems
Enterprise Level Security patch management
Working knowledge of technical patching using tools like WSUS, SCCM
Troubleshoot Deployment Queues, and performance issues of SCCM
Diagnosing performance issues on SCCM using Windows diagnostic tools.
Complies with all company policies and procedures
SCCM Engineer (L2) will be responsible for the management and delivery of Windows-based services.
Perform day-to-day routine tasks as mentioned in the checklist
SCCM OS Check, Required Services Check, Events, Application Deployment, Patch Deployment, OS Deployment & monitoring.
Prime responsibility is Patch deployment, and application deployment, handling incidents/problems of medium complexity ensuring that SLAs are met and there are no customer complaints and providing reports respective to the same.
The individual can handle issues with lot more independence and can suggest and implement service improvement plans.
Incumbent identifies and highlights the scope of automation to lead or Managers
Roles and Responsibility:
Provides information for Inventory, Application Deployment, and Patch Management.
Generate and publish reports - Weekly and Monthly.
Plan, execute, and report Availability, MIS, Performance, and capacity management of SCCM Infra.
Perform Root Cause Analysis for the incidents and handle technical escalations
Handle L2/L3 technical escalations w.r.t SCCM.
Performance, Availability, and Capacity Management.
Install, configure, and administer the SCCM and services on Windows SCCM server systems.
Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements
Advanced administration and troubleshooting SCCM server.
Patch management, RCA analysis, Application, and patch installs and upgrades following procedures documented by application owners.
Meeting SLA in time to fix the errors and problems.
Resolve issues related to Windows & SCCM Services Site replication, Group Policies, etc.
Perform Incident Management for all SCCM and server-related Incidents.
