Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CNC/VMC Operator with 1-2 years of experience to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating CNC (Computer Numerical Control) and VMC (Vertical Machining Center) machines to produce precision parts and components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Operation: Operate CNC and VMC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, and turning.
• Setup: Set up machines for production by installing and adjusting tools, attachments, and workpieces.
• Programming: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files to determine machine settings and operations.
• Quality Control: Monitor machine operations to ensure the quality and accuracy of parts, making adjustments as necessary.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Safety: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production runs, machine settings, and maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

• Education: BE in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience operating CNC and VMC machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong understanding of machining processes and techniques.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools and instruments.
• Basic programming skills for CNC machines.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in [specific industry, e.g., automotive, aerospace, manufacturing].
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM software.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and practices.
