Turret Punching (Muratec make) Programmer

Immediate opening for a CNC Punching macine Programmer / Manufacturing Engineer (Sheet Metal) with minimum of 2 years of experience. Looking for qualified, dedicated, and self-motivated team player! Set-up, adjust and prepare punch jobs (Current machine: Tureet Punch Press MIC/Make MuraTEC)

Responsibilities :

Successful candidate will be responsible for the daily setup, operation and quality of the production run, and must be proficient in all aspects of the following processes, but not necessarily limited to:

• Review customer drawings For manufacturability
• Communicate to customer the need for engineering changes
• Clarify drawings for manufacturing personnel
• Provide additional support drawings as needed for manufacturing
• Provide all routings, drawings and support documentation needed to process jobs on manufacturing floor
• Thoroughly understand production equipment to utilize machines efficiently and safely
• Have specific knowledge of 3D CAD software applications
• Autodesk Inventor
• Solidworks
• Experience in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing is a plus
• Requirements:
• 2+ years experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably in a job shop)
• 2+ years CNC programming experience in Punch(Machining exp. a plus)
• Support efforts of machine operators in daily operation of the shop
• Responsible for programming, editing, modifying and maintaining files on all parts manufactured on CNC equipment
• Experience with CAM software (Radan and Radbend a plus)
• CNC programming experience with G and M codes is a plus
• Thorough understanding of forming concepts and production equipment
• ERP/MEP experience (Made to manage is a plus)
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Be able to manage multiple projects
• Have excellent organizational skills
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Understand the basics of business and lean concepts
• Do what it takes to satisfy aggressive workload and meet customer needs
• Be willing to work a flexible schedule as business necessitates
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
