Job Summary:

We seek an experienced CNC Operator cum Setter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in operating and setting CNC machines, ensuring efficient production and high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities:

CNC Operation:

1. Operate CNC machining centers (Milling, Turning, Grinding).

2. Load and unload materials, tools, and fixtures.

3. Monitor machine performance, adjust parameters, and troubleshoot issues.

4. Maintain production quality, accuracy, and efficiency.

Setting:

1. Set up CNC machines, including tooling, fixtures, and programs.

2. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

3. Plan and optimize machining processes.

4. Ensure machine calibration and maintenance.

Additional Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with production planning and quality teams.

2. Implement safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace.

3. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

4. Train junior operators and share knowledge.

Requirements:

1. ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

2. 3-8 years of experience in CNC operation and setting.

3. Proficient in CNC programming (G-code, M-code).

4. Familiarity with CNC controls (Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain).

5. Experience with machining processes (milling, turning, grinding).

6. Good communication and teamwork skills.

Desirable Skills:

1. Knowledge of CAD/CAM software.

2. Experience with quality control tools (calipers, micrometers).

3. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.

4. Certification in CNC programming or machining.
