- Machine Setup and Operation:
- Configure and set up CNC machines based on job specifications.
- Operate CNC machines to perform machining operations as per engineering drawings.
- Tooling and Material Handling:
- Select and install appropriate tooling for machining processes.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished components from CNC machines.
- Quality Control:
- Monitor machine operations to ensure components meet quality standards.
- Perform routine checks and inspections on machined parts.
- Program Understanding:
- Interpret CNC programs and make adjustments as necessary.
- Collaborate with programmers and engineers to optimize machining processes.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
- Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues to minimize downtime.
- Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in reading engineering drawings and interpreting CNC programs.
- Knowledge of tooling selection and machining processes.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance on CNC machines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in CNC machining or relevant technical training.
