• Set up CNC VMC machines, including mounting tools and fixtures, setting tool offsets, and establishing zero points.
• Load and unload parts into the machine, ensuring proper alignment and securing of workpieces.
• Operate the machine to perform machining operations such as milling, drilling, and tapping.
• Machine Operation: Proficiency in operating CNC machines, including starting and stopping the machine, loading and unloading workpieces, and monitoring the machining process.
• Tool Selection and Setup: Knowledge of various cutting tools and their applications, including setting up and changing tools, setting tool offsets, and ensuring proper tool alignment.
• Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD designs to understand the specifications and dimensions of the parts to be machined.
• Precision Measurement: Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and gauges to inspect and verify the accuracy of machined parts.
