Position Title: CNC Operator
Department: Tool Room
Location: Plot no 32, mahila Udyami park, Udyog Kendra 2, UPSIDC Site A, Ecotech III, Habibpur, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201306
Reporting To: Tool Room Manager/Production Supervisor
Key Responsibilities :
• Setup and Operation :
• Setup and operate CNC machines (e.g., milling, turning, grinding) as per job requirements and specifications.
• Interpret technical drawings, CAD designs, and engineering blueprints to produce precision components.
• Programming :
• Load CNC programs and make necessary adjustments for offsets, tool changes, or parameters.
• Perform basic programming and editing of CNC machines if required.
• Tooling and Maintenance :
• Select and install appropriate tools and fixtures for the job.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and ensure they operate at optimal performance levels.
• Inspection and Quality Control :
• Conduct first-off inspections and measure finished products using precision instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM).
• Ensure all components meet required tolerances and quality standards for plastic injection molds and automotive parts.
• Process Optimization :
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to improve cycle times and minimize waste.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.
• Documentation and Reporting :
• Maintain accurate production records, including tool history, process sheets, and quality reports.
• Report any deviations, machine breakdowns, or defects promptly to the supervisor.
Key Skills and Competencies :
• Technical Knowledge :
• Strong understanding of CNC machining operations, G-code, and M-code programming.
• Familiarity with tool design and machining principles related to plastic injection molding and automotive components.
• Precision and Attention to Detail :
• High level of accuracy in measurements and machining processes.
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot machining issues.
• Problem-Solving Skills :
• Aptitude for diagnosing and resolving machine or production issues efficiently.
• Teamwork and Communication :
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Qualifications and Experience :
• Diploma/Certification in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die Making, or CNC Machining.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in CNC operations, specifically in the automotive and plastic injection molding industry.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and operating precision measuring instruments.
• Hands-on experience with CNC machines like HAAS, FANUC, or Siemens controllers.
Work Environment :
• Work in a tool room or production floor environment.
• Exposure to machinery noise, coolants, and workshop conditions.
• Ability to lift and handle tools and equipment as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ?9,164.46 - ?24,239.50 per month
