Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

CNC Bending Machine Operator

to join our sheet metal fabrication team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC press brake/bending machines to bend sheet metal components according to specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to bend sheet metal components as per engineering drawings and specifications. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job orders to determine machine settings and production requirements. Select and install appropriate tooling and dies for the required bend operations. Adjust machine settings to ensure proper bending angles, tolerances, and quality. Conduct first article inspection and in-process checks using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, protractors, etc.). Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency. Perform routine maintenance and report malfunctions or safety concerns. Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and operational procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a CNC operator (preferred). Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. Basic mechanical knowledge. Attention to detail and safety. Willing to work in shifts or as required.
