IT Software Asset Management Analyst The IT Software Asset Management Analyst supports the tracking and lifecycle management of primarily End User Applications, both on-prem and SaaS. They\'d be responsible for coordinating the necessary tasks to support the entire software lifecycle for in-scope applications/publishers with the assigned business owners and assist in the development or improvement of Software Asset Management (SAM) policies, processes, and procedures to support this work. Summary of Duties: Responsible for redesigning the processes and systems for Asset Management of Software & Licensing. Develop, implement, and refine software asset management policies, processes and procedures. Contribute to software process improvements and automation. Maintain accurate Asset Repository/ CMDB for all Software assets Monitor software usage to reduce risk of noncompliance. Drive process improvements with ITAM best practices and automation Designing, developing and maintaining enterprise level data analysis and reporting solution Developing insights on proposed changes and improvements to better manage inventory. Administer systems for tracking IT asset life cycles, managing inventory and maintaining information on software licenses and service level agreements. Ensures compliance with purchasing procedures and standards. Tracks quality throughout product/contract lifetimes. Manage acquisition of assets from planning through deployment. Track entire life-cycle management for each asset in order to maintain warranty information, refresh date, and end of life data information. Establish metrics and reporting for asset compliance. Conduct annual inventory audit and develop process and procedures to ensure accuracy Provide status report and dashboard reporting. Requirements: Requires bachelor degree in related field. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Works independently and collaboratively. 3+ years of Software Asset management experience IAITAM CSAM certification highly desired Knowledge of the ITIL Framework.
