Essential Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 3 - 4 Years as CMM Operator

A Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Operator is responsible for using precision measuring instruments and equipment to inspect, measure, and test parts, components, and materials in manufacturing settings

As a CMM Operator operates Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to perform inspections and measurements of manufactured parts to ensure they meet specified tolerances and quality standards.

1. Operate CMM Equipment: Set up and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to measure dimensions of machined parts, assemblies, and other components.

2. Programming: Develop and implement CMM programs using software such as PC-DMIS or similar, based on engineering drawings, CAD models, and specifications.

3. Inspection and Testing: Perform inspections and measurements using CMM to verify conformance to dimensional specifications, geometric tolerances, and quality standards.

4. Documentation: Record inspection results, measurements, and observations accurately. Maintain inspection records and reports.

5. Tooling and Fixtures: Ensure proper alignment, calibration, and maintenance of CMM equipment, fixtures, and tooling.

6. Quality Control: Collaborate with quality control and production teams to identify and resolve quality issues. Recommend corrective actions to improve processes and product quality.

7. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures. Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
