Job Purpose
This is one of the key strategic areas of investment by the company as part of its long range plan to create a network based coalition loyalty program to help B2C and D2C businesses to scale their customer engagement and acquisition funnel, in turn create a healthy prospective customer base for Bajaj Finance limited to cross sell its financial product and engage its own customer on open architecture loyalty program. Role requires acquisition and onboarding of key coalition anchor partners to support loyalty program to scale and create a large pool of Rewards which can be exchanged as value proposition between BFL and its loyalty partner Brands.
Job Duties & Key Responsibilities
* Duties and Responsibilities - Business Development \xef\x82\xa7 Acquiring and Onboarding Key Brand Partners on BFL coalition loyalty program by forging long term partnerships with key brands in the space of Retail ecommerce D2C Banking and Financial services. \xef\x82\xa7 Hunting for key strategic alliances and negotiating healthy commercials for running a successful and efficient P&L of Rewards. \xef\x82\xa7 Identifying Major and Minor brands and their commercial viability for participation in loyalty program run by BFL \xef\x82\xa7 Setting up pricing and product positioning with the key governance set by BFL Rewards Product team. \xef\x82\xa7 Setting up goals for himself and team for acquiring strategic partnership and leading the same. \xef\x82\xa7 Creating a sales governance document and integration requirements as collected from the fields from partners. \xef\x82\xa7 Accountable for smooth operations of key brand partners post onboarding and regularly identifying the campaign opportunity for the anchor partners to scale their spends on BFL loyalty program. \xef\x82\xa7 Responsible for building an account management team to support all key accounts. \xef\x82\xa7 Building and Review business potential and Monthly projection of expected Earn/Burn rate from the business \xef\x82\xa7 Responsible for Account receivable and payables with Key accounts and retail Earn burn partner. \xef\x82\xa7 Monitoring settlement process and F&A functions and ensuring smooth coordination between partner and BFL finance team. Operational Control \xef\x82\xa7 Responsible for collecting Product and integration requirements from Key partners for kicking off any integration project with BFL loyalty platform. \xef\x82\xa7 Accountable for Legal compliance and Finance clearance pre to onboarding of any Earn/Burn partner of coalition loyalty. \xef\x82\xa7 Campaign budget allocation from partner and all required sign offs for initiating and payments or invoices. \xef\x82\xa7 Integration cost negotiation and approvals for shared funding/ co-funding of program setup. \xef\x82\xa7 Setting up account management team to engage and grow partner contribution in Rewards program. Operations (Run Management of Rewards Program) \xef\x82\xa7 Reviewing rewards campaign requirements from various business campaign setup and campaign deployment. \xef\x82\xa7 Post campaign analysis and reporting for business. \xef\x82\xa7 Reporting Org level rewards program and P&L and performance KPIs. \xef\x82\xa7 Review and control seamless program execution \xe2\x80\x93 Backend process w.r.t Recon F&A reporting Settlements and Customer service. \xef\x82\xa7 Consulting Business with best practices for optimal results and ROI with their rewards offer construct. \xef\x82\xa7 Management of Program Governance and ensuring strong adherence to the same. \xef\x82\xa7 Accountable for Reviewing audit logs for project and campaigns executed. Internal and External stake holder management \xef\x82\xa7 Stakeholder management and Business critical strategy building (Business COE Ops Tech and F&A) associated with 21 Major Business and cross functions listed below (i) Payments \xe2\x80\x93 UPI | PPI | BBPS (ii) B2B ARU (iii) EMI Cards (iv) Credit Cards (v) Two-wheeler financing
* Duties and Responsibilities - (vi) RCD and DPF (vii) Gold loan (viii) Prof loan (xi) CD- Prime and all (x) Service and Ops (xi) F&A (xii) Legal and Compliances (xiii) Marketing Tech for One Web (xiv) PMO External- Star partners (Anchor Loyalty partners Key B2B dealer and brand partnership participating in loyalty program) Team development \xef\x82\xa7 Participate in recruitment process to identify the right talent for various positions within the team \xef\x82\xa7 Establish individual goals for team members on quarterly/ annual basis and regularly review individual performance of the team \xef\x82\xa7 Provide guidance and support during project management and offer development opportunities in terms of trainings challenging assignments to the team members to enhance functional and technical knowledge \xef\x82\xa7 Identify and create development opportunities for team members to enhance functional knowledge \xef\x82\xa7 Ensure next line of leaders are ready for future and people feel sense of accomplishment and growth every time they deliver on their KPIs
* Major Challenges - \xef\x82\xa7 Changing scope of project by business leads to lot of rework and resource utilization. \xef\x82\xa7 Identifying and acquiring bigger anchor key partnership with 100% utilization of loyalty platform. \xef\x82\xa7 Lower levels of understanding on Rewards platform as product and Rewards program as operations within and outside organization requires larger effort in onboarding departments and functions on the same.
* Key Decisions / Dimensions - \xef\x82\xa7 Acceptance and Rejection of Business case P& L working of partnership development and setup cost w.r.t customised requirement by Anchor/ Key strategic alliances \xef\x82\xa7 Sign off on solution and architecture balancing between data sharing and business construct. \xef\x82\xa7 Decision on Rewards offer campaign setups \xe2\x80\x93 Best practices based on user affordance and B2C mindset. (Consumer company approach and empathy) \xef\x82\xa7 Allocation of responsibilities and tasks within the team \xe2\x80\x93 Product leads and Campaign champs Finalizing Program management KPIs \xef\x82\xa7 Collecting signoffs and Go live plan with Anchor partners and retail earn burn partner \xef\x82\xa7 Reviewing partnership pipelines with team and identifying most valuable ones in terms of potential. \xef\x82\xa7 Evaluation and selection of partners based on project criticality & partner capabilities is discussed with senior management
Required Qualifications and Experience
* a) Qualifications \xef\x82\xa7 Post-graduation in Business b) Work Experience \xef\x82\xa7 Minimum 15 years of experience. Relevant 10+ years of experience in consumer Loyalty-Rewards program and product management domain. \xef\x82\xa7 Experience of 2-3 years in each of the areas- product management, Online Business functions, and Project Management \xef\x82\xa7 Thorough understanding of IT systems & consumer facing digital platforms \xef\x82\xa7 Detailed Understanding of business processes, operational and Financial reporting process. \xef\x82\xa7 Sound understanding of CRMs, Notification tools, CMS tools, Finance application and Analytical tools like GA, Omniture, Google Data studio and Power BI.
