Explore, understand the existing livelihood practices and scenario in the project region through extensive field work, conducting Focus Group Discussions with community, exposure visits to successful model sites, interaction with experts, government and private players (Input Companies & State Agriculture Universities or KVKs).
Assist external consultant(s) as may be required for the project during livelihood scoping studies.
Ensure the working preparedness of Active old CRPs/Identify the new CRPs
Identify Agriculture, Livestock, Forest and skills/enterprise based livelihoods opportunities applicable for different target group associated with project
Recruit staff and establish skill development centers wherever feasible & handhold the project team till the operations are stabilized.
Prepare location specific training material with inputs from market players & experts around identified livelihoods options; Develop calendar of activities, monthly action plans to deliver training on modules of various livelihood related interventions.
Conduct ToTs of project staff to enable them deliver small training modules to SHGs.
Discuss and report progress to Project Coordinator to fine-tune implementation strategy, when needed & take up course correction measures where necessary.
Monitor the progress of training & adoption of activities to measure the impact of interventions.
