Job details Veritas and Redhat Cluster Administrator Job Type: Full-time (L2+ / SME) Required Education: Any Degree, BE/B.Tech or MCA from a reputed institute. Role and Responsibilities Responsible to provide technical support with high degree of Customer Happiness by meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA) and process compliance. Will have to perform business impact analysis and risk assessments to reduce the likelihood of significant service outage or disasters. Provide Cluster administration and support on the technologies mentioned. Review each request / incident and carryout troubleshooting activities towards providing solutions within the OLA and SLA time. Some basic JD Points are as below Minimum 6+ years in Veritas Cluster, Redhat Cluster on LINUX, Sun Solaris and AIX servers. Hands-on experience of installing and configuring Info scale Veritas cluster (HA) Active/Passive. Hands- on experience of installing and configuring Info scale Veritas cluster (CFS) Active/Active. Hands-on experience of installing and configuring Info scale Veritas cluster (RAC) Active/Active. Good experience of creating VXVM file systems and integrate them into Veritas cluster. Hands-on experience of configuring IO fencing in Veritas as well as pacemaker cluster. Hands-on experience of installing and configuring PCS (pacemaker) Redhat cluster (HA) Active/Passive and (GFS) Active/Active Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in troubleshooting of Veritas and Pacemaker clusters. Must be having good knowledge of ITIL process. Manage Veritas Cluster Server (VCS), Veritas volume manager and filesystem [VxVM and VxFS] and/or Red Hat Cluster Suite (RHCS) along with LVM and/or SVM Manage vendor coordination and DC operations engagement. Performance tuning, Automation of regular tasks Ability to articulate standard methodologies for during implementation Proven experience in risk-based systems running on UNIX / LINUX platforms along with OS clustering, partitioning and virtualization Demonstrated experience on day-to-day UNIX-LINUX operating system support. (Good understanding of Operating system is added advantage) Cover on-call / Standby on rotation. Managing ticket queues for Incidents / Service requests & Changes Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications.
