Job Title: CLOUD VMware /Windows
Experience Level: 4-6 years
Location: NoidaJD for Cloud engineer(Windows/Virtualization) \xe2\x80\x93
\xc2\xb7 3-5+ Years proven track record as a Virtualization (VMware) Engineer
\xc2\xb7 Support of server operating systems to include VMWare ESX / vSphere as well as server class hardware and infrastructure. This team will also support and maintain infrastructure related tools installed on these platforms.
\xc2\xb7 Working knowledge of Windows OS up through Windows 2012 and above
\xc2\xb7 Working knowledge and experience with Windows OS upgrades (in-place)
\xc2\xb7 Working knowledge and experience with VSAN on VMWare
\xc2\xb7 Develop and implement technical solutions based on defined business requirements.
\xc2\xb7 Perform analytical, technical and administrative work in the planning, design and installation of new and existing Client systems.
\xc2\xb7 Coordinate and mange tasks for numerous simultaneous projects related to VMware virtual environment Enhancements.
\xc2\xb7 Identify technical environment issues and recommend solutions to mitigate problems with OS and software issues prior to contacting the manufacturer or developer for repair/replacement.
\xc2\xb7 Research and test recurring problems determine anomalies within supported software applications.
\xc2\xb7 Provide expertise on virtual related systems and related infrastructure.
\xc2\xb7 Resolve advanced and complex problems independently.
\xc2\xb7 Identify, diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve problems escalated form IT support systems and support calls. Work with other groups and outside vendors as needed to resolve problems. Monitor entire problem resolution process.
\xc2\xb7 Assist Tier 1-2 support teams as needed and provide Tier 3-4 support for VMware virtual hardware and operating system when required.
\xc2\xb7 Update and create technical product troubleshooting documentation.
\xc2\xb7 Perform special projects and assignments when necessary.
\xc2\xb7 Provide development support to the application development teams.Activities:
\xc2\xb7 Work with Mission Critical applications in keeping onsite break/fix repairs in Dublin and COLO datacenters
\xc2\xb7 Respond to engagements requests from business unit\'s needs.
