What you will do

• Evaluate current & emerging business requirements, and overlay developed sustainable cloud security architecture guardrail patterns with a strong understanding of business impact
• Evaluate current cloud security services and patterns, make recommendations for improvements that positively impact protections or financial efficiency. Lead & implement these changes in partnership with other architects and contributors\\
• Lead development of others - peers, other working groups, so that they are enabled and embrace change. This is an influencer role
• Make recommendations & develop improvements in automation efficiencies
• Execute tactical requests and support the strategic vision
• Stay educated and aware of emerging threats and new capabilities or changes that might positively or negatively disrupt the business

Qualifications

• 5+ years cloud security guardrail patterns and expertise - preferably with AWS
• Expert knowledge of AWS IAM and applying knowledge into action to create & maintain secure patterns for both humans and workloads
• Strong experience with Python, and additionally automation & orchestration like Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of micro-segmentation approaches in AWS, and applying different architecture tactics across routing, PrivateLink, and more
• Can demonstrate experience designing, developing, and building reference architectures for public cloud providers
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required to partner with other leaders across the business to identify opportunities and risks and develop and deliver technical security solutions that support business strategies
