As a Cloud Platforms Architect, you will deliver products and improvements for our NorthStar Cloud platform (based on Kubernetes). Working with the cutting edge technologies and solutions, you will be designing and developing Private Cloud platform and solutions for Dell Applications hosting on Cloud Native platforms (like Kubernetes and cloud foundry) leveraging most sophisticated opensource technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and partnerships.You will:Create automation, employ open-source software, interact with APIs, and enable CI/CD to create new cloud features, harvest/visualize metrics, monitor health/performance/capacity, etcPartner with cross product and development teams to provide education and design consultationDesign specifications for high availability and highly scalable applications which will be used by Dell application teamsProvide strategic technical and architectural direction for Cloud native solutionsTake the first step towards your dream careerEvery Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Heres what we are looking for with this role:Essential RequirementsProven professional experience with building and managing enterprise grade software solutionsExcellent track record in software design and development with significant experience with languages like Python/GoLang/Java/C++/JavaScriptExperience with enabling modern application services (like Messaging, PaaS and caching) on Kubernetes based platformsExperience with Agile methodologies, effective working independently and in a virtual team setting.Desirable RequirementsPost-secondary degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree with 12-15 years software industry experienceExperience with Opensource development, varied knowledge of database, development, system engineering and networking conceptsWho we areWe believe that each of us has the power to make an impact.
