This collaborative team helps meet the needs of an evolving technology and business model with a specialized focus on protecting customer data and keeping information secure. Responsibilities:DescriptionA Cloud Operations engineer is responsible for designing, deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and services. They ensure the availability, performance, and security of cloud-based applications and resources while monitoring and responding to incidents and issues. This role requires expertise in cloud platforms, automation, and best practices.Your day-to-day job will consist of:

• Responsible for execution of day-to-day tasks related to monitoring and managing complex cloud infrastructure to ensure service availability and data security
• Execute ticket triage, investigation and resolution of reported incidents
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotations to resolve incidents in support of production systems
• Monitor and configure systems resources (memory, disks space & CPU utilization)
• Improve customer experience with infrastructure performance tuning and optimization
• Manage and perform operating system and application software patches and updates
• Performs root cause analysis on trended incidents and major outages up through the application stack
• Develops automation that can trigger off a variety of industry standard monitoring tools to resolve common issues in the environment or maintain operating levels

Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications

• 3-5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience supporting cloud-based applications and services
• Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent degree
• Minimum 3 yearsxe2x80x99 experience with application server technologies such as IIS, Tomcat
• Minimum 3 years practical experience of AWS and/or Azure equivalent technologies such as EC2, NSGs, VPC/VNETs, Load Balancers, DNS, and certificate management
• 1+ yearsxe2x80x99 experience in server administration and cloud deployment of both Windows and Linux
• Minimum 1 yearsxe2x80x99 experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) orchestration technologies such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Salt, Cloud Formation, ARM Templates, Terraform or comparable (demonstrable proficiency or professional experience in same preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrable knowledge of Python, PowerShell, Ruby, or other programming languages
• Demonstrable knowledge of cloud Identity and Access Management (IAM), Azure AD (AAD)
• Ability to handle a heavy workload with multiple projects and frequent interruptions
• Ability to work in a changing, dynamic environment
