As a Cloud Network Engineer II in Automate Network Mitigation tasks by creating and maintaining scripts. Thoroughly investigate high-severity incidents and participate in root cause analysis. Provide technical leadership for the implementation of new and upgraded data center network with standard platform on network/server technologies carried out in compliance with best practices. Handle project from design to implementation. Understands service level indicators and uses service level objectives to proactively resolve issues before they affect customers.

• Monitor network telemetry and perform basic analyses to triangulate failures, with guidance from other engineers.
• Make suggestions on possible improvements to monitoring based on observations.
• Assist with the design processes or technology solutions that resolve issues.
• Contribute to testing and validation of network devices.
• Work within a team of engineers to manage network deployments, and provide instructions to data center or network site staff/technicians on how to repair, replace, and maintain physical network hardware and components deployed in production.
• Proactively seek mentorship, feedback, and coaching from others to improve your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications
------------------

Required Qualifications: • 5+ years technical experience in network design, development, and automation
+ OR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field AND 2+ years technical experience in network design, development, and automation
+ OR Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 1+ year(s) technical experience in network design, development, and automation
• 1+ years experience in understanding and authoring machine-readable formats like XML, JSON
• 1+ years experienced in debugging and troubleshooting deep network issues and drafting root cause analysis reports

Other Requirements:

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
+ Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
