POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer is at the core of the Technology team\xe2\x80\x99s process of building top-quality software products at the top quality in a timely and efficient manner. They spearhead developing scalable tools that enable engineers to design, develop, test, release and debug software accurately and quickly.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Deploy, automate, maintain, and manage AWS cloud-based production system to ensure the availability, performance, scalability and security of production systems.

2. Build, release and manage the configuration of production systems.

3. Support pre-production Acceptance Testing to help assure the quality of our products/services.

4. Troubleshoot systems and problem solve across platform and application domains.

5. Suggest architecture improvements, recommend process improvements.

6. Evaluate new technology options and vendor products.

7. Ensure critical system security using various cloud security solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Qualifications-

1. B.S. in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience

2. AWS: 3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with core AWS technologies (e.g. VPC, IAM, CloudWatch Logs, CloudWatch Events, S3)

3. AWS: 2+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with container/CI/CD AWS technologies (e.g. ECS, EKS, CodeBuild)

4. Infrastructure-as-Code Skills: 3+ years of experience using Terraform

5. Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (CloudWatch, SNS, New Relic, Slack).

6. Problem Solving: Ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure resource and application deployment issues.

Preferred Experience with the following-

1. DB Skills: Basic DB administration experience (MySQL).

2. Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile software development, project management methodologies.

3. Version Control: Experience using git to manage code bases and deployments

4. Networking: Understanding network topologies and common network protocols and services (DNS, HTTPS, SSH, FTP, SMTP).

5. Security: Awareness of cloud security best practices (Well Architected Framework, CIS Foundation Benchmarks)

6. Industry: Experience in SaaS, Healthcare/Medical, or Research

1. Strong communication and presentation skills \xe2\x80\x93 Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor. Must have the ability to communicate accurately and clearly, both orally and in writing.

2. Computer skills - Working knowledge of MS Office suite and Google applications. Able to generate business correspondence, create forms and generate reports as required.

3. Knowledge of field organizational strategies - The ability to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment. Successful decentralized team management and situational responsive decision-making.

Capabilities-
