You will be part of a diverse and creative team that is continually striving to offer the best quality products and services that are continuously transforming air travel.As a Network Engineer, you will play a key role in helping to support the technical development, deployment, and configuration of our network core infrastructure, focusing on automation and system optimization to ensure consistent performance and reliability.The ideal candidate will have good problem-solving skills and a strong desire to implement scalable and sustainable technological solutions. Part of the scope includes a close working interlock with development, operations, and IT teams to automate and optimize our systems, ensuring they are highly available, performing, and resilient.WHAT YOULL DO

• Function as part of a squad to design, to assist in the build out and maintenance of our network core infrastructure through automation, using IaC, for our Airport Foundations through collaboration with Architects, Cloud Infrastructure Engineers, and stakeholders.
• Assist in providing high availability and performance of core Network infrastructure through pro-active monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting and capacity planning.
• Support implementation and management of disaster recovery solutions and backup strategies.
• Automate routine tasks and create tools to improve team efficiency and system robustness.
• Collaborate closely with Network Operation teams, participating in thorough post-incident reviews, identifying root cause and working together to create action plans leading to continuous improvements in network reliability and operational efficiency.
• Assist with analyzing system performance and recommend improvements to ensure optimal utilization of Network resources.
• Work with the team to Ensure that Network environments adhere to security best practices and organizational compliance requirements.
• Maintain and update network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and operational practices to ensure knowledge transfer within the team.

Qualifications:ABOUT YOUR SKILLS

• 1-2 years knowledge of and experience in:

• Networking & Security fundamentals (Network Topologies, Routing Protocols, Switching concepts, Firewalls, Security Protocols, etc.)
• Networking protocols and best practices (DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, BGP, NTP, IPsec, VPN, etc.)
• Cloud DNS services (e.g., AWS Route 53, Azure DNS, etc.)
• Experience beyond simple scripts, in languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc;.
• Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze systems logs and data.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

NICE-TO-HAVE

• Network certifications (e.g., Palo Alto (PCNSA/PCCSE), Cisco CCNA,CCNP, Versa (VNX100/VNX400) a plus.
• Experience with Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience or understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation.
