The main purpose of this position is to ensure that the operation of infrastructure or serverless solutions hosted in AWS meets the business requirements and expectations in terms of performance, availability, security and continuity.

• Provide design, support, installation, and configuration expertise for all infrastructure associated with Digital Products.
• Drive automation and infrastructure-as-code usage in conjunction with CI/CD pipelines
• Provide full-stack support for the infrastructure associated with I&O delivered services.
• Provide after-hours support as needed, including a rotating 24x7 on-call support schedule.
• Proactively review and apply enhancements, upgrades and patches as required.
• Provide proactive improvement, technical upgrades, and support of IaaS and PaaS services.
• Determine and implement proper monitoring points and tuning alerts to be able to monitor the environments proactively, with automated healing.
• Create and maintain systems administration documentation outlining administration policies and practices.
• Support the incident escalation process as needed.
• Support the Managed Service Provider teams to ensure that required tasks are performed in a high-quality manner and in alignment with the requested specification.
• Define and execute Operational Procedures and enhance daily operational functions.
• Health and Safety:Ensure excellence in Health & Safety (H&S) by providing visible leadership and driving for the execution of the basics of the H&S operating model and adherence to Group H&S standards and policies.

Technical / functional skills:

? Expert in infrastructure operations, performance tuning and lifecycle management.

? Expert knowledge and understanding of Cloud providers service offering (mostly

IaaS and PaaS).

? Strong working knowledge of Micro-services and optimization of cloud hosted

systems primarily in AWS.

? Experience working with APIs, CLI and SDKs.

? Understanding of application lifecycle management

? Experience with at least one high-level programming language (e.g. Python, Java,

C/C++, Ruby, JSON, YAML and JavaScript)

? Experience with continuous integration and distribution pipelines

? Developing, deploying, debugging cloud infrastructures with a clear ability to define

scalable, highly available, fault tolerant architecture.

? Experience working with containers in the development process

? Strong working knowledge in automation and IaC framework tools (e.g. Terraform,

GitLab, Atlantis)

? Knowledge of Citrix XenApp, Netscalar and associated solutions.

? Knowledge of licensing mechanisms and compliance for Microsoft, Oracle, and

other key software provider

? Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.

? Broad range of understanding of ITIL, ITSM and industry best practices.

? Ability to understand and deliver infrastructure services which are provided on a

24x7x365 basis.

? Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.

? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
