• Responsible for managing our internal on-prem hybrid cloud systems architecture, deployment patterns and models to ensure that they are aligned to HSBC cloud strategy, business requirements and resiliency levels to meet service level objectives of the organization.
• The role includes contributing to HSBC cloud computing strategy, evaluating, assessing hardware, software, and systems stack to ensure they are functioning properly and upscaling to meet the various business requirements.
• Role involves close working relationship with HSBC architecture community,active involvement in community of practice, stewardship, and governance forums.
• Responsible for providing technical leadership support to multiple lines of business and coordinating system architecture direction across product management portfolio.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• At least 10+ years of experience as a solution architect
• Must have 5+ years of experience in managing large estate of multi-Kubernetes cluster deployments.
• Must have or demonstrate knowledge equivalent to certified Kubernetes administrator and Kubernetes security specialist.
• Must have knowledge on handling internals of Linux security, Apparmor, SELinux
• Must have hands-on experience with Helm charts, API gateways, ingress/egress gateways and service mesh (ISTIO, ASM.)
• Knowledge on OpenIDConnect, Identity & Access management
• Must have experience with CI/CD tools and concepts.
• Should have experience with code tools like Ansible Terraform
