We deliver cloud and application platforms and enabling solutions that empower our Koch businesses to design, build, and deploy the technology necessary for transforming their businesses. We manage several enterprise platforms including public/private cloud, integrations, developer enablement, contact centers, data visualization, and enterprise knowledge. Our applications team also provides technical consulting, develops custom applications, and provides support for leveraged enterprise applications.As a Cloud Architect you will own and drive cloud strategy and maturity for our global teams within KGS. You will be collaborating with global teams to set best practices, help teams upskill their cloud knowledge, and ensure that our business is leading how we apply modern application architecture, cloud security, and IAM best practices. In this role, you will be responsible for seeking out new relationships and partnering with our global teams to drive our cloud maturity forward. You will also be part of our Cloud Champion network collaborating with Cloud Architects across our enterprise to influence enterprise standards and development for our businesses Cloud Platform.The ideal candidate- Strives to have a visible presence and leads through sharing ideas and building strong relationships with their peers.- Is engaged with teams and views success as helping others to achieve their goals through application of cloud best practices.- Is responsible and a good steward of ~$3.5MM in cloud spend for our business.- Has a strong technical background with the ability to architect, code, and design alternative solutions for teams.- Has a history of transforming enterprises\' use of cloud to competitive cloud-native positions.Day in the Life

• Partner closely with our Enterprise Architecture capability to support strategic initiatives and influence changes for our businesses cloud strategy.
• Collaborate with our internal team to drive implementation of cloud-native architectures.
• Stay abreast of new industry trends and provide subject matter expertise in cloud technologies, providing consultation to engineers, leaders, and Koch businesses where appropriate.
• Lead Cloud Fluency for our business! You will partner with teams across our business to discover gaps in cloud knowledge and help these teams improve their knowledge by providing resources or building learning pathways with learning partners.
• Defining and enforcing Cloud architecture best practices: availability, performance, security, IAM, and cost optimization.

• 7+ years\' experience building, optimizing and architecting cloud technologies and overall 12+ years of industry experience.
• 5+ years\' experience in refactoring legacy applications to modern infrastructure.
• Informal leadership skills with the ability to influence, challenge and drive outcomes.
• Demonstrated experience

• Managing and deploying cost-optimization strategies.
• Managing CIEM, CSPM tooling for monitoring, alerting and configuration.
• Identifying like opportunities and building solutions that scale to multiple outcomes.
• Building and or using CI/CD pipelines.
• Containerizing applications using (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS).

• A background in full stack/software development or infrastructure operations.

• Strong communication skills and content preparation capability to demonstrate technical ideas and concepts to varying levels of contributors.
• Demonstrated experience with mentoring and growing other engineers.
• Experience building or influencing strategy for cloud security configurations and identity management.
