Cloud Application Developer & Consultant (T2) The Role . Develop & Extend applications on SAP BTP following clean code principles . Build and extend IES Platform Services including tools, libraries or other reusable components and take over the full ownership of these offerings . Support & Consult SAP development teams in application development related topics . Act as a central contact point and expert for technical questions in SAPs IT organization . Research & evaluate latest cloud technologies and document the outcome to help positioning latest technology trends in the SAP IT Technology Strategy Role Requirements . Strong technical background and deep knowledge in software development . 3 years+ of practical experience building cloud applications using modern web development frameworks and technology stacks . Proficient experience in at least two modern Programming languages (JavaScript/TypeScript) . Experience with SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming) and SAP UI5 is a huge plus . Practical knowledge with cloud platforms preferable with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Cloud Foundry . Very good language skills in English, written and verbal . Very good documentation skills . Goal-oriented, exact and self-organized workstyle and the strive for excellence . Technical Degree, preferably Bachelor or master\'s in computer science About the team . The mission of the Platform Center of Expertise is to provide support and guidance in technical architectural topics for all SAP IT development teams. . We provide a stable foundation of the platforms for all SAP IT teams. This includes the Governance and Operation of all BTP environments (Neo, CF, ABAP, Kyma) as well as central tools, strategic services and applications. . We evaluate new cloud & platform technologies to build end-to-end reference architectures for cloud extensions, using cutting edge technologies and defining the internal SAP Cloud strategy .
