Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified Clinical Psychologist to provide psychological support and counselling services to our students. The ideal candidate will help students manage stress, anxiety, and other mental health issues related to their studies and exams. We foster a supportive and enriching environment aimed at holistic student development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Counselling and Support:
o Provide individual and group Counselling sessions to students facing academic stress, anxiety, or personal challenges.
o Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address students' mental health needs.
2. Assessment and Evaluation:
o Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to understand students' mental health status.
o Monitor and assess students' progress and adapt interventions accordingly.
3. Workshops and Training:
o Organize workshops on stress management, study skills, and coping strategies.
o Provide training for faculty and staff on mental health awareness and support strategies.
4. Collaboration:
o Collaborate with teachers and administrative staff to create a supportive learning environment.
o Liaise with parents or guardians when necessary to discuss students' well-being.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
o Maintain accurate records of Counselling sessions and progress reports while ensuring confidentiality.
o Prepare reports on mental health trends among students to inform institutional policies and practices.
Qualifications & Required Skills:
• Master's or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field.
• Valid license to practice psychology (as required by local regulations).
• Min. 3 years of experience in educational settings or with young adults preferred.
• Knowledge of psychological assessment tools and therapeutic techniques.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Empathetic and non-judgmental approach to Counselling.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with mental health resources and referral systems.
