Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Preoperative Assessment:
• Conduct preoperative assessments to evaluate patients' medical histories, medications, and overall health status.
• Discuss anaesthetic options, risks, and benefits with patients and obtain informed consent.
• Anaesthetic Administration:
• Administer various types of anaesthesia, including general, regional, and local anaesthesia, according to the surgical procedure and patient's condition.
• Monitor patients' vital signs, such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation, during surgery to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Pain Management:
• Manage postoperative pain through the administration of appropriate pain relief medications and techniques.
• Monitor patients' pain levels and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal pain control.
• Critical Care and Resuscitation:
• Provide critical care to patients in ICU, including airway management, mechanical ventilation, and hemodynamic support.
• Participate in emergency resuscitation efforts, including advanced life support (ALS) and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) when required.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing information about anaesthesia, risks, and recovery expectations.
• Continuous Learning and Professional Development:
• Stay updated with the latest developments, techniques, and guidelines in anaesthesiology through continuous learning and participation in professional development activities.
• Participate in departmental meetings, case discussions, and research projects to contribute to the advancement of anaesthetic care.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of internship and residency training in anaesthesiology.
• Registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant medical board or council.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ?1,000,000.00 - ?1,200,000.00 per year
