Responsibilities:

• Reconcile investment transactions and accounting for portfolios using a state-of-the-art web-based system
• Reach out to custodial banks, data providers, and account managers to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial records
• Validate large investment data sets to identify, root cause, and resolve errors and inconsistencies
• Handle complex, time-sensitive requests from accounting, treasury, and IT departments with a significant degree of autonomy (contacts may include senior executives and other decision-makers at world-renowned companies)
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with a global team
• Manage assigned projects and coordinate necessary resources
• Manage client inquiries & requests (main contacts include Treasurers & upper-level Accounting Managers)
• Deliver timely and accurate information regarding Financial Statements & Analytics Reporting
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with a global team, working closely with Account Managers to build and manage valuable relationships with clients (institutional investors and investment managers)

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in related area of study
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem solving and math skills
• Strong computer skills, including Excel

Desired Experience and Skills:

• Finance and/or accounting experience
• Knowledge of GAAP and/or fixed income investments
• Securities or financial markets experience
• Advanced knowledge of Excel such as VLookUp, SUMIF, Pivot Tables, and Ribbon Utilization
• SQL query writing skills
