Job Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented IBC Clerk with experience in handling cases related to the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) and familiarity with NCLT procedures. The successful candidate will support legal teams by managing documentation, facilitating court visits, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare, review, and organize legal documents related to insolvency proceedings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IBC requirements.
• Attend NCLT hearings to assist legal representatives, take notes, and manage case files during proceedings.
• Conduct preliminary research on insolvency cases, including gathering relevant statutes and case law to support ongoing matters.
• Communicate with clients regarding their cases, providing updates and gathering necessary information for documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of all filings and correspondence related to IBC cases, ensuring timely submissions to the NCLT.
• Ensure all processes comply with the IBC and NCLT regulations, keeping abreast of any changes in legislation.
• Provide general administrative assistance to the legal team, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars.
Required Skills
• Strong understanding of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code and experience with NCLT procedures.
• Excellent ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with clients and legal professionals.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with legal management software and MS Office Suite for document preparation and data entry.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field is preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience is required.
• Knowledge of court procedures and documentation requirements specific to NCLT is highly desirable.
