Job Title- Clearing & Settlement Analyst, NCT

Location- Jaipur, India

Role Description:

This role is for a permanent staff in Pune for Settlements team supporting critical activities like trades repair, settlements, funding, breaks management, reporting. Functions under the remit will be support of settlement and reconciliation tasks for trades settling in European market. The candidate will also be required to liaise with Onshore team, Business management, UAT support to provide a front to back service delivery to clients. Responsible for ensuring that day to day controls are being followed and any risks and issues are escalated and reported on a timely manner.

Your key responsibilities

• Responsible for the timely, complete and correct processing of transactions (including performing all relevant controls)
• Liaise with the other onshore functions (as appropriate) to ensure effective and seamless delivery of processes
• Ensure effective operational delivery across product and business lines - preferably against agreed SLAs, KRIs and/or KPIs
• Validate, monitor & measure the efficiency and effectiveness of own end-to-end Operations processes. Consider, suggest and, as appropriate, implement strategies to ensure continuous process improvement. Partner with CTB/UAT and business units to sponsor the delivery of larger scale change projects/programmes.
• Reviewing User stories, Preparing Business test cases and Performing UAT testing, after understanding the business requirement and system limitations.
• Highlight and escalate operational, regulatory and other risks with the operations, CTB and Management & Strategy functions. Develop, suggest and implement risk mitigation or control solutions within own area of responsibility
• Manage, develop and empower own resources to deliver excellence in Operations in a matrix organisation
• Ensure that the processes are in line with all internal and external policies/guidelines and requirements of the regulators/markets
• Ensure smooth and seamless resiliency of processes from other DB locations and stabilise the operations

Your skills and experience

Preferred Work Experience

Should have worked in an Investment Bank/Custodian/Security market intermediary with UAT experience will be added advantage. Should have 6-8 years of work experience in securities, settlements, reconciliation, or other custodian related activities. Should have exposure working with Global Custodians Experience in deployment of technology projects related to securities will be valuable

• MBA or Bachelor's degree in a Finance related subjects with relevant experience. MBA preferred. Certification in securities will be an added advantage
