Job Description

As a member of the cleaning staff, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within designated areas. Your primary duties will include cleaning, sanitizing, and ensuring a safe and orderly environment for staff, visitors, and customers.

Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting floors and surfaces.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures, to maintain sanitation standards.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated areas.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors to ensure a spotless appearance.
• Restock cleaning and toiletry supplies as needed.
• Follow established procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and disinfectants, ensuring safety and proper handling.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and hazard-free environment.
• Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, reporting any malfunctions or deficiencies.
• Collaborate with other cleaning staff to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning of all areas.
• Follow specific instructions and schedules for cleaning tasks, prioritizing duties as needed.
• Uphold professional conduct and appearance while on duty.
• Attend training sessions or meetings related to cleaning procedures, safety protocols, or other relevant topics.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects or equipment as needed.
• Effective communication skills to interact with colleagues and supervisors.
• Knowledge of proper handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals and waste.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
