Sarvam Shakti, a key project at Sarvam Foundation, is a unique and liberating education program for the urban slum girl child. We focus on creative education, especially intensive training, in Indian performing arts and yoga. The girls also are provided with quality education under our Shiksha vertical (computers and English classes). Our students (Shaktis) have appeared on national television and gone abroad for performances. We empower marginalized girls in India through a skills-based curriculum and well-being program to find confidence, self-worth, and purpose in their lives. This shapes characters and enables them to face life\'s many challenges.

About part time job/internship

Sarvam Foundation is looking for a dedicated & motivated classroom manager to join our team as an intern. We are looking for someone who has excellent communication & student-management skills & is proficient in both spoken & written English. In this role, you will be given the opportunity to use your skills to make a difference in the diverse learning environment of Sarvam Shakti students at our centers in New Delhi & Gurgaon.

Selected intern\'s day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Consistently support our students by being available for student supervision between 3:30 to 6:30 pm 3 days a week on the weekdays; Supporting the classroom teacher in planning & managing the classroom & creating a nurturing learning environment
2. Manage the students in the absence of the subject teacher
3. Encourage & enforce student participation & supervise all the students & make sure there is discipline & behavioral conduct
4. Track progress through assessments & recordkeeping, planning & coordinating classroom activities
5. Maintain a safe & secure learning environment for Shakti girls
