ob Title: Classical Dance Teacher (IB DP/MYP)Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and qualified classical dance teacher to join our IB World School team. The successful candidate will teach classical dance in the IB Diploma Programme (DP) and/or Middle Years Programme (MYP), and contribute to the development of our performing arts program.Key Responsibilities:- Teach classical dance in the IB DP and/or MYP
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and curricula aligned with IB standards
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate dance into other subjects
- Choreograph and direct IB-related performances and productions
- Participate in IB-related training and professional developmentRequirements:- Bachelor\'s degree in Dance, Education, or related field
- Teaching certification or equivalent experience
- Experience teaching classical dance (e.g. Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Ballet)
- Strong knowledge of IB dance curriculum and assessment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a multicultural environmentPreferred Qualifications:- Master\'s degree in Dance, Education, or related field
- Experience teaching in an IB World School (DP/MYP)
- Familiarity with IB curriculum development and implementation
- Experience choreographing and directing dance performancesIB Requirements:- Understanding of IB pedagogy and assessment
- Experience with IB internal assessments and external exams
- Familiarity with IB curriculum and standardsWorking Conditions:- Classroom-based teaching
- Rehearsals and performances may take place outside of regular school hours
