The ARS Claims Operations Associate Manager is responsible for administration of mail, document and file related duties, to provide operational and tactical support to all operating units. Also assists Senior Management, as required, to achieve operational/production goals and objectives.Customer Service \xc2\xb7 Ensures and enables staff to maintain a connection with the customer by understanding and meeting their needs; serves the customer with empathy; and follows up to ensure that customer needs have been met \xc2\xb7 Manages and resolves escalated customer communications, concerns, conflicts, or issues \xc2\xb7 Reviews customer satisfaction results celebrates achievements and develops and directs business unit action plans as needed Supervisory/People Management \xc2\xb7 Creates a productive and supportive work environment of highly engaged employees who create highly satisfied customers \xc2\xb7 Ensures understanding of business objectives, results, processes, etc. with their direct reports \xc2\xb7 Reviews employee work quality and interactions with customers through conducting ride-along or sit-along and file reviews \xc2\xb7 Manages staff and effectively uses performance management to improve and/or reward employee performance \xc2\xb7 Participates in checkpoints, goal setting, and PDS's \xc2\xb7 Completes performance corrective action plans and coaches employees on performance or behavior opportunities \xc2\xb7 Interviews potential employees \xc2\xb7 Monitors staffing levels and workloads \xc2\xb7 Effectively coaches and provides development/career guidance for direct reports \xc2\xb7 Administers company Human Resources policies Administration and Operation Management \xc2\xb7 Ensures compliance to company, state, and federal compliance rules and regulations \xc2\xb7 Participates with leadership in developing strategies for operational improvement \xc2\xb7 Defines, analyzes, and tracks department, section, and/or unit measures \xc2\xb7 Analyzes unit reports and supports the achievement of business unit objectives \xc2\xb7 Identifies issues and potential solutions on all aspects of the claims business \xc2\xb7 Develops and manages processes to ensure delivery of compassionate service that is fast, fair and easy \xc2\xb7 Ensures adherence to empathetic and responsive customer service in all transactions Education and Experience

  • 14+ years of related experience
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
