Roles & Responsibilities:
-Monitoring all construction activities on-site to ensure they adhere to project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
-Regularly inspecting and assessing the work in progress, identifying and addressing any issues or deviations.
-Coordinating and managing multiple work crews, subcontractors, and laborers to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.
-Distributing tasks and allocating resources effectively to meet project deadlines.
-Ensuring that all work is executed to high-quality standards, conducting quality checks and inspections as required.
-Addressing any quality-related concerns promptly and working with teams to implement corrective measures.
-Enforcing safety protocols and ensure that all personnel and equipment on the site adhere to safety guidelines and regulations.
-Maintaining detailed records of site activities, including daily progress reports, materials used, and manpower hours.
-Providing regular updates and reports to project management on site progress and issues.
-Identifying and resolving construction-related challenges and conflicts that may arise during project execution.
-Collaborating with engineering and management teams to find effective solutions.
-Assisting in monitoring project budgets and controlling costs to ensure projects stay within the allocated financial resources.
-Staying up-to-date with local building codes, regulations, and permits, and ensure all work complies with relevant laws and guidelines.
-Leading and motivating the construction team to achieve project goals and maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
Skillset Required:
-Proven experience as a Civil Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry.
-Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.
-Excellent leadership and communication skills.
-Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction plans.
-Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
-Relevant certifications and licenses may be required.
-Demonstrated experience in directing and managing your own labor force to achieve the desired outcome, keeping in mind the commercial constraints.
