Job Description

Responsibilities and Duties:

• To develop from scratch single line drawings for steel structures like process buildings, platforms, frames, pipe

rack according to inputs received from piping.

• To develop civil foundation layout according to inputs received from piping and equipment dept.
• To adapt existing steel structure to project specific requirement.
• To perform budgetary BOM (bill of material) for structures.
• To participate in a design review meeting (30, 60 and 90%).
• To create manual sketches and utilize software to convey design principles.
• Make sure that everyone in the piping group is aware of the rules of structural and civil discipline.
• To participate in reviewing and checking designs, drawings, and data from suppliers.
• To maintain project technical files and update company standards.
• To perform the inter-disciplines checking for the part of documents in accordance with the scope of the

structural and civil discipline.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Candidate should have Mechanical / Structural / Civil Degree with minimum 6+ years of experience, experience

In Basic and/or Detail Engineering (Of Detergent, Refinery, Fertilizer Plants etc.)

• Knowledge of International Civil & Structural Codes & Standards essential.
• Knowledge of mechanical and machinery documentations, ability to understand such drawings.
• Ability to work with loads, weights and forces applied to industrial structures.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD software is essential, knowledge of structural software like TEKLA or STAAD can be an advantage but is not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?80,000.00 - ?100,000.00 per month
