Position: Civil Structural design engineer

Company : KC Cottrell Engineering Services Private Limited

Job Location : Chennai

Experience: 4-8 years

Key Responsibility :

1. Analysis and design of various Industrial RCC and Structural steel including, pipe rack, platforms, conveyor gallery in power plant, process industry, Chemical, Oil and Gas industries.

2. Foundations (raft, Piles, etc)

3. Liquid retaining structures- Steel and concrete tanks,

4. Technological Structures like RCC buildings, pre-fabricated structures etc.,

5. Stack like Structures,

6. Connection Design for Steel structure

7. General Civil Engineering works, BOQ estimation, Design of Rigid and flexible pavements, Design of Storm water and sanitary drains, etc

8. Proficiency in Indian, American and British / Euro Codes preferred.

9. Proficiency in various IS codes especially IS: 456, IS:1893-2016, IS:800-2007, IS 875.

10. Proficiency in various American codes especially - ASCE 7-16, AISC, ASTM, API, etc.

11. Preference will be given for candidate having previous working experience in Electrostatic precipitator, Fabric filter/ Bag Filter, Flue Gas Desulphurization and Dry sorbent injection equipment and its associated auxiliary component design.

12. Proficient in STAAD v8i - connect edition, AUTACAD.

13. Proficient in creating calculation spread sheets for design of structures.
