Overview:
The Civil Store Incharge is responsible for overseeing all aspects of materials management related to civil construction projects. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage inventory and procurement processes. The Civil Store Incharge ensures that construction materials are available as needed to support project timelines while also maintaining accurate records and adhering to budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of all civil construction materials, including but not limited to cement, steel, bricks, sand, gravel, and construction equipment.
• Procurement: Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure materials in a timely manner, ensuring that quality standards are met and costs are within budgetary limits.
• Storage and Handling: Supervise the proper storage and handling of materials to prevent damage or deterioration. Implement appropriate storage practices and safety measures.
• Issuance and Distribution: Manage the issuance and distribution of materials to construction sites according to project requirements and schedules.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of materials received, issued, and utilized. Generate reports as needed to track inventory levels, consumption rates, and budget expenditures.
• Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure that all materials meet specified standards and specifications. Conduct inspections as necessary to verify quality and compliance.
• Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to coordinate material requirements and deliveries. Communicate effectively to ensure that materials are available when needed to support construction activities.
• Vendor Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers to facilitate smooth procurement processes and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise.
• ERP : Must have knowledge of ERP software & SAP.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Diploma, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in materials management, preferably in the Civil construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction materials and their characteristics.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office applications.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to materials handling.
• Immediate joiner or early joiner will be preferred. Ahmedabad Local will be given preference.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
