Job Description

A civil site supervisor manages construction projects, ensuring that work is completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. They also ensure that all activities comply with safety regulations and building codes.Responsibilities

• Manage construction workers: Create work schedules, assign responsibilities, and supervise construction workers

• Review building plans: Check that plans and blueprints meet building regulations

• Inspect construction sites: Regularly inspect the site to identify hazards and ensure safety standards are met

• Manage materials: Order and ensure delivery of construction materials

• Complete reports: Provide regular reports to the site manager or construction manager

• Communicate with stakeholders: Liaise with subcontractors, engineers, and architects

• Ensure compliance: Ensure that all activities comply with legal, health, and safety regulations

• Resolve issues: Resolve issues that may arise and communicate with project managers and clients

Skills and qualifications

• Sound knowledge of building codes and construction safety regulations

• Working knowledge of construction tools and equipment

• Ability to interpret blueprints

• Outstanding leadership skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Qualifications in Civil Engineering or any other related field
